This clematis just grows in a tangle up the clothes pole.

This path leads to the shed, the log store, the coal bunker and other things to be kept out of sight.

The courgettes have got tiny little fruits on but
I've had to wrap them up against the wind
and rain.
This is the area I call the south terraces and
it's served me well. The squash, courgettes,
outdoor tomatoes and cucumbers will be growing here.

Another jungle. Guess that's just what my garden is like.

The path to the drying green. I should get rid of the cranesbills all growing out of the cracks in the steps - but I haven't the heart.

This area is just outside the kitchen door. A bit of a jungle, but I love it.

The clematis montana is brightening the sitooterie. Need to think of something for pots for this time of year when the daffies have gone but it's too early for the usual pot plants.

Is May the new June. This rose, Morning Jewel, produced it's first full flower on 2nd May and now has many other buds.

The potatoes in buckets are doing well. Planted in succesion and hope to get some over as long a period as possible. The compost bin is tied to a tree stump to stop it blowing over.

Things are planted and growing well and the second bed is up. Just waiting to be filled. Oh well, better get the barrow out.

First plantings.
First raised bed ready for planting.

The fencing is up and the first raised bed is made.
This is the area that will be the kitchen garden. A lot of work to do ! Clear the ground, put up deer proof fencing, build raised beds, and grow something to put in them.

No idea what I'm doing as just an experiment to see if I can share a piccy through a blog. This is my Polygonatum. Hope they don't get attacked by saw flies and their caterpillers as they got decimated last year. Posted by Picasa
